Let’s welcome Michael Lumibao, one of our recent Engineering interns! 🎉

Excited about writing back-end code and designing clean UI, he combines both passions at Opal and is excited to grow during his time here.

He has a variety of experiences with different companies during past co-ops, including automated testing, mobile development, micro-services, and even some metaverse work on VR, AR, and mobile. He’s glad he could broaden his view of what software engineering means and what’s possible with advancements in the future.

In his free time, he leads one of University of Waterloo’s competitive acappella teams. He likes to dance, work out and play sports. An avid Audible listener, he would like to request that if you’re reading this, to give him book recommendation requests for sci-fi, tech/business, or self-help.
