Opal Supports Secure Copy Protocol (SCP)

Opal's CLI now supports copying files to and from servers securely using SCP! Under the hood, we use AWS SSM to provision SSH access to servers which doesn't support SCP out of the box. This failure to support SCP has been a major hurdle to adopting SSM as a whole.

While Amazon SSM offers plenty of security and maintenance benefits over traditional SSH, developer workflows are hindered by not being able to copy files. Many developers run workloads remotely and want to copy and share outputs across the company.
